About Peggy Horwitz, LCSW
I began working with individuals, couples and families more than 25 years ago. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy, I have a certificate in psychoanalysis and have training in a body-centered psychotherapy.
Over the years, I have learned that our most effective and valuable resources for learning, growing and changing are found within each one of us. This is not always easy to believe or recognize; however, by shedding light on aspects of ourselves that have long been left in the dark, hidden, discarded, or devalued, we can recover our innate strength and open to the wisdom of our true selves. It is my belief that our true selves provide us with our sense of self-worth and vitality allowing us to pursue meaningful relationships, career opportunities and creative endeavors.
Each person who comes for therapy is unique and our work together is respectful of your individual needs. My intention is to provide a collaborative, informative, inquisitive and accepting atmosphere that will help you feel safe and understood.
